About the Gardens
The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens is a 48-acre public garden located on the
outskirts of Dothan, Alabama. The Gardens offers paved walkways which are handicapped accessible and stroller-friendly. The Gardens is a favorite location for weddings, corporate functions, birthday parties, church picnics and  other community events.

In addition to the Camellia Garden, the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens includes an Azalea Garden, Hydrangea Garden, Daylily Garden, Herb Garden, Asian Garden and more.  The Gardens was founded in the early 1990's and the creation and development was largely due to volunteer involvement and community support.
